C) Dosage : 3 to 4 tablets three times a day
D) Indications : To be given in very early stage of fever of chicken pox, measles and other viral fevers alongwith Gulawel Satwa. It is useful in Pitta pradhan Jwar (fever) even as adjuvant.
For nosal bleeding (Epistaxis), rectal bleeding and per veginal bleeding when it is intermittemt Praval Pishti Vati is to be given along with Suvarna makshika and Haridra choorna (Termeric powder) However the cause of bleeding needs to be thoroughly investigated.
For Burning in the throat, sore bronchitis (Pittajanya Kasa) Burning of the hands, feet and restless feeling, this is to be given with Dadim (Pomegranate) Juice or Dadimavaleha of Ayurveda Rasashala. In Whooping cough, burning conjunetavitis to be given alongwith Ghee + sugar or milk.
Intake of Alcohol increases acidity, burning, Nausea, vomiting and headache, giddiness and sense of non well being. Here Praval Pishti Vati in Susbstantial dose alongwith Gulkand of Ayurveda Rasashala proves to be very useful.
It also gives strength to Shukrasthan. Therefore useful in Night fall and early ejaculation of Semen. For burning type of watery per vaginal discharge Praval-Pishti vati with Ushirasava is useful.
For bleeding piles esp Pittarsha this is to be given with Gulwalsatwa and Nagakeshar (Asli)
